Wrexham is situated in north Wales, close to the English border. It has good road links and is served by two train stations. Booking a train ticket to Wales will often attract a Welsh Assembly Government subsidy but terminating early at Crewe or Chester is quicker and easier. Onward travel to Wrexham by car takes around 50 minutes and 25 minutes respectively.
